Real Madrid star Rodrygo believes that Brazil’s chances of winning the 2026 World Cup heavily rely on Neymar’s presence. After scoring in Brazil’s 1-0 victory over Ecuador, ending a three-match losing streak in CONMEBOL qualifiers, Rodrygo highlighted Neymar’s importance to the squad.
“He’s our star, our best player,” Rodrygo said in an interview with ESPN Brasil. “You can see how much we miss him. Having Neymar back and healthy is crucial, and he’s close to finishing his recovery. We all hope he returns soon.”
